Mess around me

I decided that NOW, today, I will finally have time for myself and clay. The last time I played with polymer clay was what... In December.

I could start telling all the marvelous things I have achieved since December and all the excuses why I have not had time to do arts, but instead I tell you another side of the coin: my work table was so full of s**t that it took me whole hour to find a table underneath. Yes, really.

I am not good at keeping my home or surroundings organized. I try. I truly try. I buy lots of neet organizing boxes and stuff. I visit places like Hong Kong and Ikea often and spend money on stuff ment to organize my home but it never looks neet and tidy. I can not get this craft stuff organized. Instead the surroundings look like this:

Anyway, by the time that was done I had no energy to do anything way cool. Instead I continued my Faux Chinese Antique Cabin project with making some plates to be attached to the front doors. I mixed some Bronze and mud clay to get bit more real metal shade:



I made some plates for my Faux Chinese Antique Cabin and then had some leftover bronze clay and just HAD to play with my fossil-shell molds again. They looked bit boring so I remembered that my friend Jeanne did send me a half bottle of Antique Bronze Pearl Ex. That was just what I needed. After claying and cleaning the stuff away the claying table surface was still visible. After baking the polyclay items looked like this:




I am happy with the results. Cant wait to varnish them and string the necklace and continue with the Cabin. It felt good. Claying usually does
